Well... many... strange things have happened in the past... two weeks, I'd say.

Let's start with the first:
At the end of every class, Virginia mandates that its students take the SOL (Standards of Learning) Test to make sure we're learning what we're supposed to, and that teachers are doing the right job (... well, the test fails in THAT category.)

So, naturally, a huge deal is made about these tests. Everyone worries and panics and runs around screaming. Teachers bribe and offer all sorts of little prizes and gifts to those who pass, play games to study, and down right cram as much as they possibly can into our teeny heads.
We spent three weeks studying for these. Three weeks...

And how did I do?
I got perfect scores on all of my tests.
Perfect 600's.
And I didn't study at all.


What'd I get? A king-size Three Musketeers bar, a t-shirt that said "Earth Science 600 Club" (hand-made by the teacher), and exemptions from all my final exams.
Whooo.

Just goes to show how low standards have fallen... *siiiiigh*

My history class actually accused ME of BLACK MAGIC AND WITCHCRAFT. Many of them started shouting to have me BURNED AT THE STAKE.


Moving On.

CHANGING CLASSES, PRAISE THE LORD! 8D
I'm sad because I'll miss history, but SO @#$%! glad to be rid of that creepy mccreepin' creeper in my history class! *cries tears of joy and sings merrily*

Also... Umm...
I... uh...
Gave my dog a concusion.
With a tennisball.
O_O;

NO LIE.
I went outside to play with my dogs, and I threw the ball for my puppy to fetch, and my older poodle walked right in front of it, and got slammed in the eye! He yelped so terribly, his eyes rolled into the back of his head for the day and got all swollen, and he was blind in one eye for the next day! I felt so terrible, I was crying so much!

Weeeeeird...

Also, my beautiful hot chocolate maker broke! It won't make anymore! So in order to conquer my terrible addiction, I have to make it with a teapot! The old-fashioned way! Noooo...! D':

Also also, track is coming to a close. Well... sorta. Winter track is at least. Which is good, because spring track has the better races and so forth, and I get to throw discus but bad because... it's a lot more competitive. O_O; All the good athletes start coming out... waaah...

Also also also, OUR COMPUTER CAUGHT A VIRUS!!! WAAAAAGH!! I was so scared because all of my pictures, files, Ad Vitam Aeternam writings... they'd all vanish because we'd have to wipe the harddrive!!
But, amazingly enough, we managed to combat the virus and save out computer... phew. |D

Despite all of these small, neverending misfortunes, I've felt unusually... happy.
I mean, all day I've felt as if I've been skipping through a meadow of rainbows and flowers with the sunshine smiling everywhere while being followed by rabbits and kittens and puppies and bunnies and it's raining CANDY!!

But I'm happy.
I feel... really happy. <3
